Dream – old friends and a fresh baby

2 old friends (Barb and Deb will do for names) were in this dream

We (wife and I) had a new babe, we were very chill with it. We treated it like it was 7 or 8 years old but it was only days/weeks old. It moved and its body was that of an infant but its intellect was that of a 7/8 year old.

The baby’s nappy wouldn’t stop leaking. It was like a hose was in there with liquid coming out. Nothing stopped the flow, wife went to get another nappy.

Barb had a B&B somewhere where Wife got a job. I was surprised wife considered this job as she would be away 6-7 days a week based on the job and the distance away from the family. She asked Barb for a discount on the B&B rate so she could stay in it.

Relationship with Barb and Deb seemed like that of very comfortable old friends, none of the issues that exist where there. We just all made our selves at home around each other.

We walked up their front door, there were stairs but we didn’t care there was stairs. I looked at them in my dream as an outsider thinking “how am I going to respond to these fucking stairs” but dream me didn’t care, didn’t think twice about it.

Reflection

• at work I have been asking for a structure and role clarity “we’re working on it”, “do what you need to until we tell you stop – that’s your boundary”. Finally on Monday 2nd Feb I got some clarity around my role going forward. The structure is waiting on approval but my role will be X moving forward, if I am interested.
• at home – we are trying to sell our house to move to ACT. My wife wants us to ‘just go’ and rent our house out. I don’t want the stress of this action.
