Astrology – Moon Sign – Aries
The Sun sign wasn’t anything new to me. I’ve known I’m an Aquarian for a long time.
Now it’s time to step outside my comfort zone and look at my Moon sign.
Moon Sign
The Moon is about how I feel and process emotion. It represents:
- Emotional instincts
- Reactions under stress
- What makes me feel safe
- My private, unfiltered self
Ask most of my friends how I process emotions and they’d say, “She doesn’t.”
Ask my wife and you’d get a very different answer.
She knows my feelings aren’t in the words I use — they’re in the changes in my eyes, posture, and body language.
Me
Date of Birth: 4 February
Time: Yes, I have it
Location: A town in Victoria, Australia
Moon Sign: Aries
Good lord. The only things I associate with Aries are fire, heat, war, red. Let’s see how this goes.
Aries Moon
An Aries Moon signifies an emotionally direct, impulsive, and passionate inner self — driven by independence, excitement, and immediate action.
Aries Moons are often called Warrior Moons. They react quickly, carry high emotional energy, and don’t linger.
Aries is known as the “baby of the zodiac,” representing raw, enthusiastic beginnings — fire used to blaze new trails.
This lines up perfectly with the story from my Sun sign post. Cutting off the friend who overstepped? That was the Aries.
In the moment, I went from zero to fuck you in less than a second. After I hit send, I was done. Moved on. Closed it off completely.
No Poker Face
Aries Moon emotions are immediate and visible. The eyes give everything away.
Years ago, during a performance review, my senior said:
“If someone’s a fuckwit, you can’t tell them they’re a fuckwit.”
I was genuinely confused. I said, “I would never say that at work.”
He replied:
“You don’t say it out loud — but your face does. Your eyes do. We all know.”
Element: Fire
Fire in Aries is the purest expression of Fire. As the first sign of the zodiac, its fire is about beginnings.
It represents:
- Initiation & courage — no waiting for permission
- Instinct — fast, gut-driven decisions
- Passion — fuelled by excitement and challenge
Ruling Planet: Mars
Mars brings action, drive, desire, and raw life force. It pushes Aries to act now — no consensus required.
Mars rules anger, but in Aries that anger is fast, honest, and short-lived.
Mars also governs muscles, heat, and vitality. Aries Moons often need physical movement to stay mentally and emotionally balanced.
The good: bravery, leadership, passion, protection
The challenging: impatience, impulsiveness, burnout
In Short — My Moon
My emotional core is:
- Fast
- Fiercely independent
- Direct
- Action-oriented
- Honest
I don’t fully resonate with the anger stereotype. I get frustrated quickly, yes — but outward anger is rare. Once or twice in the last ten years, maybe.
Looking around online, my Sun–Moon combination is often described like this:
Aquarius gives the big picture.
Aries provides the spark.
I’m not just the system-builder.
I’m the ignition switch.
